We have lost a giant of the world of retail
Retail Excellence Group CEO David Fitzsimons has today (25th April 2019) expressed his sadness on the passing of world-renowned retailer, entrepreneur and former senator, Feargal Quinn at the age of 82.
In a short statement, David Fitzsimons said “Today we have lost a giant of the world of retail who was a treasure trove of knowledge and advice and an enthusiastic supporter of aspiring retailers and entrepreneurs. Feargal family can be justly proud of his achievements and his lasting legacy.”
“I had the distinct privilege of knowing Feargal and presenting him with a well-deserved lifetime achievement award at our annual awards night in 2007.”
“My condolences and that of all of the team at Retail Excellence go out to Denise, their five children Eamonn, Stephen, Gillian, Donal and Zoe as well as Feargal’s 19 grandchildren and wide circle of friends at this sad time.” Fitzsimons concluded.
